Hi I'm Mima,
I got my first digital camera when I was thirteen years old, my friends and I would spend hours taking silly photos and trying to capture the coolest action shot. Around this time, I also started taking videos of my family's trips and compiling them into short movies (we still watch them to this day). My mom constantly took photos, so since I was a child I valued photography as a tool to capture special moments in time.
I'm here to tell you, they're all special. Every chapter of our lives is magical and important in its own way - it's all part of our unique journey.
When my dad got diagnosed with pancreatic cancer in 2019, I decided that my New Year's resolution for 2020 would be to take photography seriously, to embrace it as my art form of choice. I realized then how important it was to not take any moment for granted. I had to love the people around me and embrace my dream to be a creative.
Since then I've focused on family photography with a cinematic style. I fell in love with capturing the genuine moments between other humans.
My path has now shifted me to helping other entrepreneurs establish a brand presence and share their stories. There are so many amazing businesses out there whose dream clients are waiting to find out about them.
